Heather has nearly three decades of experience in unclaimed property and assists organizations in identifying any escheatment discrepancies and implementing solutions to improve their experience while ensuring compliance. Her extensive industry knowledge has established her as a respected professional in unclaimed property and a dependable advocate for holders. Recognized for her dedication and longevity in the field, Heather has held various elected positions and received accolades from the UPPO organization.

Her meticulous approach to understanding a holder’s circumstances and her keen eye for detail have positioned her as an expert in all aspects of escheat compliance, including risk assessment, audit defense, annual reporting, and corporate asset recovery. Heather’s goal is to guide clients towards tailored solutions, having worked closely with holders across diverse industries and sizes to develop successful escheat compliance programs.

  • Key contributor of the internal MarketSphere team that developed a process to streamline the client onboarding process with a seamless transition to the delivery team.
  • Instrumental in facilitating internal awareness of how to become an advocate for clients to enhance their escheat compliance management with the assistance of MarketSphere’s processes and technologies through education and awareness outreach.
  • Member of UPPO since 1998. Have served in the capacity as a Board Liaison, Co-Chair and member of the following committees: Professional Development, Conference/Seminar, Holder Advocacy, GRAC, Virtual Learning, and communications. Additionally served on the Board of Directors in the following capacities: Immediate Past President (2021-2022), President (2020-2021), 1st VP (2019-2020), 2nd VP (2018-2019), Midwest VP (2017-2018).
  • Played an instrumental role on the UPPO Board Executive Committee to initiate monthly meetings with the National Association of Unclaimed Property Administrators (NAUPA) to bridge the gap on practical issues of the Revised Uniform Unclaimed Property Act (RUUPA) for the holder community.
